Carb Shimming Instructions For CVK Carbs
Remove the shim needle
Down inside each carb you will see a round flat head for the needle.
Reach down with your needle nosed pliers and carefully extract the needle. Be careful not to damage the needle or scratch the surface of anything with your pliers.
This is what the needle will look like once you have it out and have slid one of the shims onto the needle.
