Well Rob, ONCE AGAIN that bad ol' Mainstream Media(or at least this particular blogger, in this case anyway) have got it ALL WRONG!!!
They're not "tryin' to ban chrome"! NO!!!
My sources tell ME that what the DOT REALLY said was that they're tryin' to ban GNOMES!!!
You know, like those little gremlin suckers that cause all those problems out there on the road and which SOME FOLKS then put those funky little BELLS on their bikes as some sort'a protection against 'em!!!
(I guess the thinking at the DOT was, "Ban the gnomes, and then there'd be less reason for folks to put those funky little bells on their motorcycles"!!!)

I'm thinking if we can encourage wider acceptance of "Safety" yellow adopted by some Goldwinger's, the world would be a happier place ~ yellow orthopedic knee socks optional, no sense getting carried away.

Well as I drive around in my 38.5 MOG Hyundai, I'm tired of headlights in my rearview mirror! Let's ban SUVs all together while we're at it, or their CHROME bumpers and grills that distract me...
