I wonder if the camera shut down or if it was edited to end where it did. Dude got way lucky.

Erle, I think Dave might have meant lucky because of this Quote:
I have no idea how I am still here. I walked away from this with only a lower leg fracture and cut's/bruises
This is from the same guy and i think it was just before the crash, and some of the things he does would have scared me witless

Ok, I didn't get that the first time around.
But ya know what, after watching that second one, it makes me realize that I'm more sane then I gave myself credit for! Maybe I've been in Florida a little too long, BUT I WOULDN'T RIDE UP THAT MOUNTAIN CLIFF EVEN IF THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC AT ALL!!!
THOSE PEOPLE ARE INBRED WITH MOUNTAIN GOATS. (I had to hold on to my chair arms JUST to watch some of that)

You got it. He could have been completely destroyed in that wreck and instead he walked away with a broken leg. Tough sonovabitch that he can walk with a broken leg!

Wow! I got that queasy feeling in my stomach from watching that video. Nerves of steel!!!
But then again... a friend was telling me how the other day he and a buddy (riding on/off bikes) traversed some similar terrain near here. They pretty much ended up on a goat trail that had NO room to turn around. From the way he described it I reacted by saying "there's no way I could do that!" He has pictures which I have yet to see but it sounds pretty scary!

If he did in fact "walk away" i'm sure it's because he was in shock. I tried to walk after my crash last year, only to realize that i had some new joints in my lower leg. It didn't hurt right away. That was freaky!

After watching that video at work (yes, at work) I felt that my ride home was so safe....and I enjoyed every minute of it. I wonder if I bought this guy a life insurance policy if he would name me as the beneficiary....

I walked away from 2 fairly high speed bike crashes one with road rash and one with no injury and that one I hit a car that pulled out in front of me.

WOW!!! Makes me glad to live in Texas. The roads are wider. Although the people still drive the same.
