Hey Tom, howja like the handlebar mounted windscreen? I'm trying to figure out the +'s and -'s of fork or handlebar. Give me a yell sometime, I'm just north of you in Springfield.

Windscreen is really nice to have. It makes longer rides viable for me above 60MPH. No noticeable impact on handling. Easily adjustable, easy on & off, and easier to clean the bugs off of then my jacket. Seat is a Corbin Gunfighter. Not sure what type of leather, you can look up Corbin on the web they have a pretty comprehensive site.
Thanks for the compliments!

Sweet looking speedy for sure. Nice setting too.
2 cents on gps locations: I've tried placing my zumo on both the left and on the right sides of the handlebar. I settled on the left side. Seems less distracting there as you don't have to reach across your direction of travel to operate (mainly the MP3 player function) it. 1 cent
And the unit is less visibly to passerbys when side-standed. 2nd cents

I came up with a nice clean way to add some power outlets for those interested:
Powerlet Handlebar mount PKt-090-54-C W/Ballmount PBK-10:
Using a RAM mount with Powerlet cable PPC-015-SC:

And also added lower power outlet PSO-001, plugs right into factory connector:

Then made this nice charger plug from their connector kit PPL-002:

I figured nothing better to do on a snowy day then to get ready for the spring!

Just finished setting up power to my tank bag:
That should keep my phone going should I need it as I have in the past. Just need to find a more satisfactory Tank bag.

It depends.
If I have it in the full up position, it covers the speedo and sits in the lower portion of my field of view. I usually have my display set up to show MPH/Miles to go/Miles driven, so everything I need to know is right there.
If I swing it over 45 degrees to the handle bar, use my short arm or lay it horizontally, It sits right between the speedo and tach in my filed of view. When I glance down I can see both.

Corbin Gunfighter. It came with the bike. I love the look. It took a little getting used to. A little stiff at first but it kind of molds itself after a while. Did an 800 mile weekend on it and felt fine afterward. So it gets a thumbs up from me.

Very nice bike Tom, tell me how do you like your Memphis shades windshield ? I had a Memphis shades deuce windshield on my Beemer, it was a little taller and wider and nicely made but the wind buffeting at helmet level was severe. I often thought that one a little smaller like yours would be a good compromise between protection and size, and it should leave your helmet in a clear flow of air. What do you find?

Thanks Mailman!
The screen does me fine. I get a little buffeting on the Hwy, but not enough to bother me. Keeps the bugs off my jacket. If I'm really on the throttle, I'll sometimes tuck down a little and I'm completely out of the buffet.
Also keeps my GPS and Tank bag dry in light rain as long as I'm moving 30mph or better. (as I found out last weekend)

Just a peek at an electrical upgrade. After cleaning up some electrical issues see: Go figure
I got around to putting in the Aux Power bus I've been pondering. The hardware is Marine and a little overkill, but does the job nicely. This will make it easy for a few other accesories I plan on installing down the road. Positive bus is protected by 30Amp fuse via the regulator upgrade I did previously. Negitive Bus a short wire right to the battery. Both 10Ga.

The view from under the Right side cover:
