I bought an 02 TBA in Denver. I live in Illinois, about a 5000 foot difference in elevation. How will I know if I have to re-jet? I got the bike in October and was able to ride about 20 miles when the weather allowed. Seemed OK, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Any insight is appreciated!

Might be looking at a bike jetted too lean on a 5,000 ft elevation difference. What setup are you running in the rest of the system?(ie; pipes, airbox mods. Running lean is a bad idea and can lead to big problems.
You can find just about any setup with the size of jets used in the Performance Guide. I'd check to see what others are running for main jets and adjust yours accordingly. Member Dinqua...aka Pat...has a good good site for jetting the carbs . Brent at newspeedmaster.com sells the carb jets .
If you don't feel comfortable doing any of this, find a dealer who can do the job.

Thanks for the input. I'm a tad green with a wrench to be taking on carb adjustments. Sounds like my local dealer is gonna get some business.
