Bob Walden here in sunny, currently frigid Missouri. I do not currently own a motorcycle (had a Honda 350 in the 70's and a Suzuki in the 80's). Trying to decide which one I want for my retirement bike. Actually I'm pretty sure I want a Triumph, that's why I'm here, just want reassurance. I posted a Why Triumph? thread. Hope no one thinks I was trying to stir up trouble. Not being a current Triumph owner, I didn't think my opinion matters much in this regard, so few posts. A wise man once said, "I never learned much when I was talking".

Have been without a bike for 2 years now. Went to local Triumph dealership and took a long test ride (all afternoon!). Sun was out. Roads were clear. Bike reminded me of the twins i owned when i started out bikin 27 years ago. Guess what....

Hello all. Bought a 2004 America several months ago and have been visiting the site daily since then. I like the fact that y'all are so respectful of each other.
Thank You, Campbell

I feel like Steve Martin in the movie "The Jerk"..."The new phone book is here, the new phone book is here! I am somebody!" But seriously, even though I'm a lurker, I appreciate all the knowledge I've gained from the Veterans of this board. THANKS!

Well I lurked for a number of months and then became a member shortly before I bought my bike. I introduced myself then and again when I got my screen name changed. I wondered what it would take for me to get my status upgraded from Stranger to something else. I guess it is the number of posts and not the amount of words I shove into a post. I am a wordy sort. It's what we detectives do. I wish it was a cool as it is on TV. Name: Rick Brown; Occupation: Major Crimes Detective; Home: Northern NV near Carson City; Ride: 08 America, stock awaiting windshield.
