loose dogs
      #478832 - 11/22/10 10:41 AM

last night I nearly dumped my bike trying to miss some dogs that came out to chase my bike. It was in a really tight corner of what use to be a fun little twisty road. Why do people let their dogs run loose to start with?

Well Chad, maybe you don't know this, BUT there ARE a few dunderheaded fellow motorcycle riders out there who actually train their dogs to chase any motorcycle which doesn't make an ear-splitting "Po-ta-to, Po-ta-to, Po-ta-to" sound as it goes by their house!!!

(...however, far be it from me to single out any one particular group of offenders here!!!)

Yep Mike! That's THEM alright!!!

And yep, word is many of their dogs DO sport them there doo-rags(though I think they're called doG-rags when their pets are wearin' 'em), AND I hear MANY of those folks even name their dogs after their preferred brand of motorcycle TOO.

(...how "original", huh???!!!)

Go by there later this week and whistle and call out here Fatboy! Then throw him an oily rag,the scent will throw him off cause he will think you are his master and will leave you alone.

It was getting dark so I didn't see if they had rags around there necks. one ran staight infront of me the others were on the right side of me barking and running straight at me. while I was banking left. I missed the dogs but it scared me some and really angered me. I am not going to do it but I want to take my pistola and go back through there.
