A black Triumph and a castle. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
Did you ride through that archway?

I would only hope that Hinckly sees some of these pics to appreciate the true beauty they are putting together. OK, I'm biased, but these ARE a work of art as this picture shows of THIS bike. Nice shot - Beautiful Ride!

Nice bike. How's that low profile seat for comfort? It looks great.I've heard they can be quite ok for even extended rides. Is that correct?

A lovely looking America there Colin with some fantastic backdrops. What type of floating front rotor are you running?

Thanks for the comments folks. Drum castle is a bonnie backdrop, but then we have plenty of castles to choose from round here.
Paul. The low profile seat is pretty good, sits you down into the bike, rather than on it. Most I've done in one day is 240 miles, but after that the buttocks get kind of numb.
John. Floating rotor is EBC, caliper is Beringer.
Stephan. Yes I did ride through the archway( But got sent packing)

Cool looker.. Some gorgeous places up there, & nice roads too.. I like the look of the seat ;-) I'm glad you're happy with it. I am about the same as you, after 250 miles a little numb bum, but I'm running short shocks on the rear too..

Tony. Run took 8 days there and back. If/when I do something like that again, I'll allow a bit more time, not so much for milage per day, no problems on that count. Just need time to take in the scenery and what going on.
one day I will venture with you lot... One of these times I'll make it to Dent. Really hope I can make it down for your wedding next year.

First off, Welcome to the site Manuel, and thanks for the comment. Drum Castle is off the beaten track about 12 miles west of Aberdeen(come over sometime and I'll take you out to see it) As for the battery cover here's the story of that Link

Not without some sadness I left my America at the dealers on Tuesday. Ended up walking (riding) out on a Thunderbird. So here's some pics of the new bike,at the same old location. Drum Castle.

Sorry for your loss But on the other hand...
Nice ride! I really like the looks and feel of the Thunderbird and got the chance to take one out from the dealer awhile ago. Wasn't a fan of the exhaust though (too quiet). Keep us up to date if you make any modifications.

Thank you too kindly Chris. No none of Ivan's doing, though I know where you're coming from. Ivans view of the Thunderbird, is to say the least, biased, and thats putting it mildly.
