using img code for signature

is it possible to use [IMG] for your signature? if so i must be doing something wrong.

I just tried [image] and it didn't work. I don't think it works. Does it work John? Nah... it's not working.

It dosn't work because it has been disabled. If everyone put images in their signatures you end up with less space. I like the idea too as have used other forums that have it but the topic was covered before and the general consensus was negative. Isn't that right FJ?

It's a fun idea, but IMHO it just takes up too much space on the page.

IMHO it dosn't take up that much space if the pics are limited to a very small size. I use another forum occasionly where you can do it and its kinda fun and easy to change the picture.

The problem I think in the past has been where they allow big pictures and it ends up being repeated all through a thread and gets annoying when all you want to do is see what was written. I can imagine that would be the main reason against it and understandably so.

That was the full size, the one for the signature is tiny.

Too much space, takes longer to load the page (depending on your browser cache settings), takes longer to load the pages and too easily abused making more work for the mods.
