Big bore kits question
      #528865 - 08/21/11 09:51 AM

I while back someone posted pretty much every outfit that big engine mods, one was in FL and had a program where you could just ship them the engine. I can't seem to find the post. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I worked with Bill Gately at bonnevilleperformance.com, he shipped the sleeved cylinder and piston kit to me and I shipped the stock cylinders back after I swapped them out. I can't say he won't have a core charge, but he didn't make me pay one.

my problem is, if i do this upgrade, who i can get locally to do the work...our local stealership is NOT an option.

Question, to those who have had these upgrades done. i know our engines to be pretty much bulletproof stock, can the same be said after these mods?

You can pull the motor yourself and ship it to Gately and pay the $500 flat rate to have the big bore installed. That's at the very bottom of the page on that link.
