just heard from one of my ABATE buddies that in Europe they are proposing an inflatable suite (personal air bag) as mandatory for motorcycles...attaches one to the bike via lanyard , come off and poof ' you bounce down the road like a Mars lander......how far along is this, ??? what have you Europa's heard about this ???

Any studies on what happens when you forget to disable it before you get off? Or, are they going to require some expensive and complicated system involving the ignition switch, side stand etc. that is guaranteed to cause weird accidents?
