Just wondering what you guys think about mounting the rear fender to the swingarm nice and tight to the tire like a hardtail? Dont think it would be that hard to do just a little work around the seat. Any suggestions would be great.

derbikedennis did it, I think it looks pretty sweet. He also stretched the swing arm.

That bike IS pretty sweet. I wonder if it's actually necessary to stretch the swing arm to stop the fender from hitting the seat.

So did Mark Case, with Bruiser. Admittedly, the trailer fender doesn't look as good as Dennis' but it all depends on the look you're going for.

derbikedennis' rear fender mod is really cool lookin...a great job too....nice & clean. I'm pretty sure one would have to strech the swing arm to clear the seat, or raise the seat to clear the fender. I wonder what my 07 BA would look like with a similar mod???? Hmmmmm , a new winter project may be unfolding!

Shouldn't be that tough. I'd probably weld a tab or three on the swingarm and bolt the fender to that and the two rear supports. I'd want to be able to replace/paint the fender if necessary separate from the swingarm.

Look at the back of the other bike. I believe that bike has shorter shocks and there is still plenty of room for the seat (though it is on springs) and no interference from the frame.
Whether or not you stretch the swingarm and how you stretch it will determine how you mount the fender.
