Okay, I'll say it: much of the content of the Lounge could disappear and no one would miss it. Currently we are not purging the Lounge but that day could come. To avoid losing threads that have run their course but are worth keeping, we have the Hall of Fame. In Memoriam threads are probably the best example. But some other threads transcend the usual blatherings.

If you think something should be moved here, contact a moderator. If the thread is still active, it won't be moved. If something has been moved, for example, "Lurkers Represent!" , but we want to resurrect that idea and run with it again, start a new one (as I already have for that example) in the Lounge.
