Hi,
I just got a pair of Long cannons from Fast Eddy.
My understanding is the bike needs to be remapped.

what is remapped and how do you do it on a BA 2009 EFI,only snorkle top .

Thanks ahead of time.

CPU needs to be adjusted for additional flows etc. SOmeone in here with more experieince with the EFI will get to this but you need to put the bike on a dyno for the re-map, not sure if additional module is required or if dealer can do it by plugging it in, i suspect they can.

I didn't do my remap myself, but I'm fairly certain a Dyno isn't required. I think one way to do this yourself is with tuneECU and that it has some presets available that will match up with what you have done to your bike. Anyone who can confirm/deny any of this... I wish I had done the remap myself so I knew what the heck I'm talking about.

EFI tech vault has mapping info there.

From what I understand if you swap pipes (maybe eliminate the catalytic converter when you do that???) you'd need to disable the O2 sensors. If your computer isn't reading a/f via the O2 sensors anymore then you'd need to get it on a dyno for a true tune... or use a map someone else made and hope it works.

I haven't needed to remove the O2 sensors and I'm looking into the ECU tune as we speak. I'll report back what I find out.

You might start with loading the latest TOR fuel map(TuneECU is a great tool), or having it done at a dealer. Takes minutes and only the seat has to come off to get to the OBD II plug. That is the only other tune I know of without doing other mods. Anything more and a custom map from a true dyno tune would be called for. The TOR tune won't be optimized for your exhaust but will be close or at least MUCH better than the already too lean stock tune/fuel map.
