Well, I broke down and finally bought a summer riding jacket. I figured since I hate putting on sunscreen that this is probably the most logical solution, plus it gives a bit more protection if I ever bite it. Time will tell how I like it, but it fits well and the mesh should have good airflow. I'm guessing I'll probably soak it at gas stops and let it air dry on long trips, like the Midwest Rally coming up later this week. I'll post back with a full review after I get a couple thousand miles in it.

I really have to photo my XL Cortech GX Air jacket and get it into the classifieds for sale soi can buy a large. The XL is just too big...but it sure flows the air and keeps the sun at bay.

I've been eyeballing that jacket since it came out. Guess you'll be able to give me a ride report in person

don't be eyeballing it much longer, word is they are going to discontinue it for a more expensive model. I was out the door for $125 at a local dealer.

they are a decent jacket i have one very similar, the only thing i do not care for is the "no collar" look, i prefer my triumph edmonton leather jacket but these are good and they are cool for sure in hot weather.

So after a bit over 1300 miles and a large chunk of that in triple digit temperatures, I can honestly say that without a doubt, the jacket did its job. I was pretty comfortable wearing it in high temps, and it lets plenty of air through when rolling. Obviously, when you have to stop and sit you're gonna start sweating, but it actually made it even better once I started moving again. Riding in full sun without getting torched is pretty nice. I like it and I'm glad I have it now.

I have the Cortech Air GX as well. Mesh jacket makes all the differance in the summer. I like the Leather on the grind points as well.

I just bought a Tourmaster Intake Air 3 jacket this weekend. I was cool as a cucumber even in the muggy TN afternoon. I was previously using a non mesh vented textile jacket - this is a huge improvement. Glad you're enjoying yours and sounds like you got it for a bargain.
