no many of them are different, i beleive there is a standard "head" size but very rarely goes that way, Bell helmets for instance fit tighter then say Shoi or Nolan, some are egg shaped while others are more oval.

Ok then I guess this was coming sooner or later so here it is.
Bell vs scorpion or any other company is there a best or is just a matter of preference or how much cash you want to roll out?
Thanks

I actually own both. A bell Half and a scorpion full face. I'm thinking they are both same size. Both fit great, I'd find something in your price range that you like, I'd suggest at least DOT approved maybe both, (my scorpion has both). Anyway find one or a few you like read reviews, ask opinions then go to a shop and see how they feel on. Walk around the store in it to get a good feel. I mean this thing is gonna be on your head for a while I assume. Even if you plan on odering it online I'd still try one on in person.

i just bought a new Bell Revolver Evo modular and i think its a great helmet, just order one size bigger in the bell, i am usually a medium and the large fit perfect. i think its about 200 bucks or so, DOT has places for speakers, inside visor fog free shield etc, i like it very much.

Many of the very expensive manufacturers have different shaped helmets for different shaped heads.

Proper fit is crucial if you ever intend to wear it. Like poor-fitting pair of shoes or boots, you may not realize it for a while, then, when you do, you will feel it soon after putting them on again forevermore.

Try some on, find the right fit.

Try a DAVIDA.
Its a UK helmet which comes up one size small but is a superb item if you go one size larger.
It may be expensive but its great,Quiet and a tight fit & really comfortable when broken in.
