Yesterday i rode my bike to work and all was good. on the way home i noticed that my front brake lever felt very firm, i made it home ok and it was fine this morning when i rode in
now this afternoon on my way home I noticed the same thing, then when i got near my house the bike started to lose power and i could hear the front brake engaging. I made it home. I now probably need a new rotor and pads.
does anyone have the same issue with theirs. and if so what fixed it. If it matters the ambient temp is about 90* with a lot of humidity.

What year bike, how many miles on the bike? When was the last time you changed you brake pads? Did you clean the caliper up when you did the job? How old is the brake fluid? what brake fluid is it dot 3, 4, 5?
Could be water in the system. Many brake fluids attract water. you may want to change to dot five fluid.

bike is an 07. pads and rotor look relativley new. I have only owned it since febuary and put 200ish miles on. I will try bleeding and replacing the fluid. I didnt know if this may be a comon issue with these bikes as i am new to them.

Brakes on these are a paint in the neck to bleed. Look on the tech site for help.
