Freemansburg Hill Climb
      #658912 - 06/26/16 07:10 AM

I went to the hill climb and was both happy and disappointed. When I went into the pits to see what was going to be going up the hill I was disappointed to see no BSA twins at all and only 2 73 Triumphs. The Triumphs were running nitromethane. The man that owns both of those is the national champion and just coming off of back to back wins, 16 in a row if I remember right. It was great to see the old Triumph smashing the times set by the purpose built modern race engines. I had hoped to see more British stuff since they always kicked ass on the hill. Only 1 HD there too, also an antique. I didn't stay to see the end of the unlimited so I could avoid sitting in traffic on my bike on the way out. When I left Triumph was in 2nd in the extreme class and not sure in the unlimited. No modern Triumphs either, wonder if the new ones are just too heavy.
