Well, finally finished my winter projects today. Bike has been on a lift and apart since Jan 1st, after returning from a NY Day ride with the DC RATS. My projects completed were: Valve shim job Progressive 440 shocks - bought used from a DC RAT Polished front forks Progressive fork springs - stock height New fork fluid New rear tire - Metzler ME880 Replaced crankshaft sprocket seal Polished the brake/clutch levers Missed a number of 50+ degree days, including today. Went out for a maiden voyage just before the sun went down today. Hopefully the rain holds off tomorrow to allow for a short ride.
Here's a shot of the front forks:

Looks good Al. I know how you feel about the missed days, mine is still apart waiting for a couple orders.

I don't know Al,
I was tempted to do a "I'm Done", "No More", "I'm Finshed", "Not One More Thing", "My Bike's Complete", "Not One More Dime" archive search!!! Many have tried, few have climbed that mountain.
By the way, the finish on those forks is beautiful, I bet the hand polishing alone took at least 15-20 minutes . I don't know if I have the patience. Looks great.

Only regret was not doing a burn-out with the old rear tire before removal. Pulled it off while waiting for my valve shims. The rear did make 14k.
