I have been a lurker for a few days now, and it is changing my life! Now, when I'm not riding, washing, polishing or admiring my bike, I'm lurking! What a perfect way to feed my obsessive/strange(r) side. Fortunately, I live in paradise where 12 months of riding (barring hurricanes) is possible. Used to live in Seeley Lake, Montana where snowmobiles are more the speed for the majority of the year. I do miss the mountains, I don't miss the winters!

No kidding! You could have been the third Montana member. Oh well...
I stayed in Seeley a few weeks ago. I forgot how pretty it is up there.

I'm guilty of lurking !!! Have recently set up a new business (bought a village pub and restaurant) so haven't had much time to read the forum boards or to post !!
We are in the process of refurbishing the place but if any members happen to find themselves in Kent (Medway area) a warm welcome awaits you !!

If you stayed in Seeley a few weeks ago, I probably know the people. I used to work at Rovero's in town and my wife and kids all worked at various establishments around. Everything from the Double Arrow Resort to the Tamaracks on the lake. I used to own the little house on U.S. 83 about five miles north of town. I do miss the place every once in a while, but then I remember the winter snows of 1996!

That was the last "real" winter we had in these parts. I had snow 6' on the level. The piles from the opening the driveway with the farm tractor were so deep I couldn't see out my front windows for a couple months.
On the other hand I haven't picked up the snow shovel for two winters now. Ya, the Seeley-Swan area is great, although I rarely get over that way.

I wanna say it was the Seeley Motor Inn. North end of town.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with splodge, there is no one stranger than me. Just recently got the bug again, or perhaps redicovered it.

My, now 89yo, mom had 2 things to say as well: "I thought those were out of your system by now" and "that sure is a beautiful motorcycle!"
