What's in your Stable?
      #343030 - 08/10/08 02:36 PM

Many of you have more than one ride. What's currently in your stable of bikes? Which one have you been riding the most of late?

I am currently at two. Been riding the Uly more often lately, only because it is the newest to the stable. In fact my Speedmaster whined at me this morning, so I took it out for a quick 150 miles.

Sometimes it's difficult to decide what to ride. Today it was this.

A 2001 Bonnie sits next to my America, both getting tired of waiting for me to come home off the road...

Have you cataloged your collection in photographs? I'm sure a lot of people would like to see them, myself included.

No I only have the few that I posted in the defunct photopost and some "in progress" shots that I never scanned. My P-11 would run if I fixed the head. I traded a guy for it and never fixed it. He had a spark plug stuck in the head and tried to get it out with a chisel. Screwed up the sealing surface. Head is currently off it and I was pleased to find standard bore pistons in it.
I had posted shots of my 58 T-110 ,66 TR6C chopper, and my 64 BMW before I did any work to it the day I brought it home. I think I have some shots of my 72 Bonnie chopper floating around and some shots of my stock 72 Bonnie when I was doing the clutch on it, and some shots of my 72 Daytona when I got it and in stages of being re done. I have shots of my 67 Bonnie 8' long bike with very short forks and hard tail and very low to the ground with mini apes on it. None of my BSA I'm sure, trouble is most need to be scanned and are in my photo album stuck to the pages. I kept photo records of them in progress. Tons of shots of my 54 T-110 in pieces and stages of being rebuilt. That one isn't done yet. Not enough cash for the sheet metal I need yet.

By the way I also have a 76 Suzuki GT 750 triple 2 stroke and 2 GT 380s and a Honda 500 the funny looking V twin that kinda looks like a Guzzi engine. I don't include those in my count since they are jap. The GT 750 is buried in my shed the 2 380s have been sitting outside for the last 10 or so years and the Honda sits where I rode it to in the woods behind my house about 5 years ago. wasn't anything wrong with it when I parked it there but who knows now.
