Since I hit 30,000 on the bike this week, I figured it would be a good idea to change the fork oil since I've never done it. The only time I even opened them was to change out the springs with progressive ones, and that had to be about 20 thousand miles ago. I know I've read posts about what weight to use, some say 10 and some say 20, some ay to mix the two... I managed to find some 15W fork oil, so maybe I'll tackle that this weekend. It's going to be like a million degrees here anyway, and I've been wanting to take the forks off to polish them again, so this works out well. I plan on just turning them upside down and pumping them a couple times to get all the juice out, anything else I should know?

Might let them hang upside down overnight because some of that oil is sludge now and it just won't drain fast.

every 24k per the Triumph Manual. I do mine every couple years since the first time I did it.
When I upgraded springs (after about the first year) I drained them and even at low mileage a lot of gunk came out.

I don't think I ever changed fork oil if there was no other reason to take them apart like needing new seals or something.Mine has been in there for 8 years now.

I've got 41 K on mine now and am feeling bad about not changing the fork oil.

Occult. I'm sure of it.
