Reutilization of a Front Rotor?
      #564126 - 06/10/12 12:16 PM

I replaced the front Rotor on my American the other weekend b/c it was below spec. Thinking of ways to re-utilize it, and looking for suggestions.
Polish it? Bead blast a design in to it? Turn it in to a clock or some type of wall hanging for the garage?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

They make a fairly durable rifle gong target, if you hang them set to swing, but, if you anchor them rigid, say, to a post, mil-spec 5.56 punches a clean hole.

Anchor for a small bass boat.

Could make a face plate for a wood lathe out of it.

Sharpen it and make a battle ax out of it.

Battle ax sounds great, as the a target (lord knows I have enough 5.56 I can afford to shoot some).

I think I will high polish it, then mask off some indices, and bead blast. It'll make a good face plate for a garage clock. At least that's the plan tonight

Or if you are into the Hip Hop/Rap scene you could wear it as a necklace.

If I make it in to a clock I can do that as well...Flava Flav style!

Small chair side table to hold your whiskey, then you can both get wobbley and distorted.
