New Bomber Pipes

I just ordered a set of these and had a question but didn't want to start a new thread.

I live about 3 hours from my dealer. What would be the consequences if any of installing them and driving the bike up for the remapping instead of trailering?

I can't imagine any permanent damage from a short ride with an exhaust change. You won't even realize that much of a performance gain unless you open up the intake as well. But a remap is still in order, with any change from a stock config.

I sure loved everything about mine.

Now just mount them to the center stand mount and shave off the hangers...

Ok. I just came across this thread. I have the Bomber Exhaust on my Speedy (2007, Carbureted). I am still running the stock air box right now, no modifications to it. Stock jets as well. Do I need to have my bike remapped too? Can I run the bike this summer without remapping? An do it off riding season?
