The Booze Fighters are not a 1% er club as supposed they are only "outlaw" because they refuse to cowtow to draconian regulations. They were actually started by world war vets who bought and chopped military surplus bikes. Rode all over the country racing and stunting to entertain the people where every they would go. Yes they were known for drinking and getting roudy but not drug dealing or murder or exstortion ( as the real 1%ers do and get glorified, and glamourized for like the tv show sons of anarchy) . I cant remember all the details but here is some info to help you maybe look it up. They were labeled a 1%er club by the AMA after a riot started at a bike rally. The AMA blamed the Booze Fighters with out even attempting to asertain the trueth. They wanted a scape goat and the wild and wooly Booze boys were an easy target.
