We have made significant progress the last few days in collecting vital information, gaining control of stuff and generally rocking the world! Okay not really, but at least we have a better handle on things. When we lost the porbeagle server, wow, that was a nervous moment in time! Our first test so to say. Yet even then, the procedures to correct that problem were all on Dreamhost. We did loose a bit of information when the data base was restored: some post that had occurred between the time of the lost server and the last backup Dreamhost had made. Nothing older than a day or so. We are still looking seriously at migrating away from the UBB boards onto those of vBulletin. By year end?
What does this site mean to you?
I stumbled upon this site while looking for reviews on the TA. Not only were my concerns laid to rest but I found a great bunch of people from all over the world who will assist in anyway possible and have become like a family (in a good way). The people I’ve met in the flesh have been just the same as online. All in all, a great way to be welcomed back into motorcycling. — Bryn Taylor (brindle), England
